Guitar Masterclasses — Alvaro Pierri

Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 May 2026, 15:00 – 20:45 HKT · Live via Zoom between Vienna and Hong Kong

Each year, ahead of his appearance at the Joy of Music Festival, guitarist Alvaro Pierri works remotely with a group of young guitarists from Hong Kong and mainland China, gathered at Play It Loud Studio (Room D8, 1/F, Cheung Fat Factory Building, 265–271 Un Chau Street, Cheung Sha Wan, Kowloon), coordinated by Hong Kong-based guitarist and teacher Chris Wong. Classes are held in English with simultaneous Chinese interpretation. Fourteen students take part across the two days, each performing and receiving feedback on a solo work.
